Our Impact

“Heat the Burgh” has been heard on 94.5 3WS, 22 The Point, and Pittsburgh Market Place. The goal is to spread awareness about “Heat the Burgh” and find families who qualify for the program. Thanks to the kind support of Carrier, Standard Air & Lite, and our team of authorized Carrier dealers, we’ve been able to deliver 28 gas furnaces and installation services to families in Western Pennsylvania who were without heat. We’re so grateful for the generosity of our partners and the opportunity to help those in need.

Our mission is to lend a helping hand to families in Western Pennsylvania who are struggling to make ends meet and stay warm during the winter months. We’ve teamed up with a group of Carrier Factory Authorized Dealers and Carrier to provide new gas furnaces to those in need. Our “Heat the Burgh” initiative is dedicated to keeping families safe and cozy in their homes.

Together we are making Western Pennsylvania a warmer, better place.

“My friend is a hard working woman who is a single parent or 5 daughters which only 2 are left at home and the furnace she currently has in her home quit working and she has been trying to save money to get another one but other things always get in the way. She would NEVER ask for help from anyone but will ALWAYS be the first there to help ANYONE. She really needs a new furnace for her small home. If you could please find it in your heart to help her I am sure she would definitely pay it forward. Please take this nomination into consideration. Thank you! ” – nominator

“Elderly couple who live next door. They are retired and have health issues. Their furnace is over 30 years old and parts to repair are obsolete and they cannot afford to replace it.” – nominator

“My pap is an 83 year old Veteran of the US army. He’s lived in his house for 50 years. His current furnace is pushing 60 years old and riddled with issues. I believe he would be an outstanding candidate for this year’s “Heat The Burgh” – nominator.
